JBL MARINE AMPS UP 2006
3rd February 2006
Putting more power through boats’ speakers, JBL Marine recently introduced two new marine amplifiers. The MA6002 and MA6004 are engineered for the marine environment and loaded with features to enhance boaters’ audio experience while on the water.
The new amps from JBL Marine are built with a marinized circuit board to keep salt and corrosion away from the critical circuit path. This ensures flawless power year after year. Large-gauge barrier strips allow easy hookup and the use of larger-gauge premium power, ground and speaker cable.![]()
Onboard 12dB electronic crossovers provide tuning options for systems of any size. A variable bass-boost circuit allows for additional bass tuning, optimizing performance regardless of location.
The MA6002 is a 2-channel, full-range amplifier with a power output of 60W RMS x 2 channels at 4 ohms. It measures 8-5/8″ long x 8-1/8″ wide x 2-1/4″ high. The MA6004 produces 60W RMS across 4 channels at 4 ohms and measures 12″ long x 10″ wide x 2-1/4″ high. Both amps feature a low profile heat sink, which dissipates heat to allow for installation in tight spaces.
The MA6002 retails for $139.95 and the MA6004 is $169.95.
