The new SI-TEX SP-90 Autopilot with fixed-mount, waterproof control head is designed 
to fit inboard vessels 30 to 60 feet, with continuous-run hydraulic pump systems. This newly designed autopilot is the “extra hand” on deck that boaters always need, and it keeps them right on course–effortlessly. The operation is a snap: Simply set the course and the SP-90 takes the controls, piloting to the next destination with ease and accuracy.
Four operating modes – Power Steering, Autopilot, NAV, and Stand By plus Dockside Setup mode. Features Dodge Function to avoid an obstacle in the water when in autopilot mode, plus Continuous, Emergency, “U” Turn functions.
The large, backlit display offers adjustable brightness and contrast, giving the boater accurate digital Bar Graph displays of rudder angle and current mode in use. The SP-90 achieves smooth, precise steering with Trim controls and ten selectable levels of rudder sensitivity with high and low speed settings. And the unit’s Ghost Rudder backup allows the SP-90 to use a memory of rudder movements to calculate new movements in event of rudder feedback failure.
Other features include Adjustable yaw, turn rate and rudder settings; easy course changes from 1º to major change, with the Course Knob; Built-in Loran/GPS interface to take you to your next waypoint; visual and audible alarms; Built-in diagnostics and self-test, plus operates with solenoid valves.
The standard SP-90 system includes: control unit, distribution box, signal processor unit, fluxgate compass, and rotary feedback. Available with CT2 Drive Box for reversing DC motors and 18CI Pumpset as Model SP-90CP18. Also available with CT2 Drive Box and 30CI Pumpset as Model SP-90CP30. Options include—analog Rudder Angle Indicator to accommodate up to 4 stations and both fixed and handheld full-function remotes.
