Blue Sea Systems’ WeatherDeck™Water Resistant Circuit Breaker Panels
Marine electrical products innovator Blue Sea Systems announces its new line of
WeatherDeck™ circuit breaker panels. These water resistant panels, available in four
and six circuit versions, bring a new level of performance, good looks, and versatility
to boats of all sizes.
Because these panels are water resistant, rated IP67: “Temporary Immersion”, they
can be mounted anywhere—outside on the flybridge or open cockpit where they are
easily accessible. The water resistant front panel withstands rain, sea spray, and
hose spray washdown. It is constructed from UV stabilized and weather resistant
material—the same material used in many automobile exterior parts.
Carling ON-OFF toggle switches and 15A push-button thermal-trip, manual-reset-
only circuit breakers are installed in each circuit. Rugged UV stabilized waterproof
boots protect switches and circuit breakers. Depending on your application needs,
you can install switches that provide other actions, and circuit breakers of different
amperages. Carling and Gaynor toggle switches are available in a variety of actions
including single pole double throw, double pole double throw, and momentary styles.
Circuit breakers appropriate for installation in the WeatherDeck™ panel are available
in 3, 4, 5, 7, 12 and 15 amperes current ratings.
WeatherDeck™ circuit breaker panels can be mounted in four different orientations to
expand location possibilities. Circuit labels can be rotated accordingly. Each panel is
shipped with a set of 30 labels. Additional features include independent label
backlighting circuit for remote switching and dimming, tripped circuit breaker
indication, and integrated switch guards that decrease the likelihood of accidental
switching.
