ICOM’S COMMANDMICIII

18th February 2006

Miami, FL (February 16, 2006) - At the 2006 International Miami Boat Show, Icom America proudly introduces the third generation of its popular remote control option: the COMMANDMICIII™. The “CM3” offers full control of Icom’s new M504 fixed mount VHF – including its Class D DSC!Perhaps the first thing boaters will notice about the CM3 is its size. The plug and play second station option is notably larger than its predecessor, and offers a fantastic ‘form factor”. That is, the CM3 feels great to hold. The LCD display is large and bright, and offers 168 full dot-matrix characters, making DSC position sharing easy to see.

Multi function “Jog” dial
A newly designed multi function Jog dial gives you quick and easy access to many M504 settings, including operating channel, volume, squelch, menu settings and more.

Submersible PLUS (IP-X8)
The COMMANDMICIII is tested to survive submersion 50% deeper than its predecessor, and receives the highest possible rating for waterproofness.
